Entries open today for Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup 2022
Porto Cervo, 24 January 2022Entries have officially opened today for the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup 2022, organised by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda (YCCS) with the support of longstanding partner Rolex and in collaboration with the International Maxi Association.
The regatta will take place in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, Italy, from September 4 to 10. The Notice of Race is now available online on the YCCS website: www.yccs.it.
The event turns its 32nd edition in 2022. An impressive fleet of maxi yachts at the cutting edge of yacht design and construction are expected to join, with internationally renowned sailors on board.
First races are planned for Monday September 5. Coastal races are then planned for the following 5 days, around the islands of the La Maddalena archipelago and along the infamous “Bomb Alley”. Final awards ceremony is scheduled for Saturday September 10.
